2025 Park School of Buffalo Boys Tennis Recap
The Park 2025 season was Park’s first Boys Tennis season in over 10 years. And the team had 15 players suit up in the orange and white all year.
Some of the highlights:
-Practices had full attendance throughout the whole year. Rain or shine.
-We successfully welcomed two exchange students to the team from Cardinal O’Hara
-As a team we won our final home match of the year against Gow with Jack Mendelson and Vincent Zhang clinching the match by winning in doubles.
-Park sent 6 players to the MMHSAA tennis tournament.
-Aariz Qureshi played the entire year at #1 singles as a Freshman and won over 80% of his matches. He finished 4th in the Monsignor Martin Championships and won MMHSAA Freshman of The Year.
-Jack Mendelson and Vincent Zhang reached the doubles quarterfinals of the Monsignor Martin Championshps.
-Jeffrey Conrad (sportsmanship award), Van Steevnson (coaches award) and Aariz Qureshi (MVP) won awards at the end-of-the-season pizza party.
